I have been struggling for some time with my Logitech MX Master 3 mouse on my iMacPro (2017).
The mouse is connected with a Unifying Device USB Dongle. Sometimes the cursor motion is smooth - but eventually it becomes erratic and impossible to use. The mouse works fine on other systems.
The fix is to attach the Unifying Dongle to a USB extension cable - to get it away from the computer - 36 inches seems enough.
